8 EnviroGear pumps ready to ship to PPG

PeopleFlo Manufacturing Inc. announced that PPG Industries, a leading manufacturer of paints and coatings, has selected PeopleFlo’s EnviroGear sealless gear pumps for use on a tank farm project at their Circleville, Ohio plant. PeopleFlo will provide eight EnviroGear sealless gear pumps to transfer finished resin.

 PPG was confident in selecting EnviroGear pumps for this important project because they have been successfully using EnviroGear pumps in this facility since June 2006. EnviroGear sealless pumps were selected on this project to reduce future maintenance costs and eliminate environmental costs.

3D CAD model of right-angle drive package

PeopleFlo’s technical support team provided a unique solution to help PPG minimize the use of floor space. PeopleFlo developed a compact right-angle drive package designed to significantly reduce the pump footprint. To insure a proper fit, PeopleFlo provided 3D  CAD models to PPG’s engineers to ensure a proper fit. “This project enabled us to showcase our technical support capabilities,” said Clark Shafer, Vice President, Customer Services at PeopleFlo. “We offer customized solutions that range from solving space constraint problems to a piping design conversion program to lower the cost of replacing dimensionally different pump configurations.”
